7 dead out of 12 in a minivan ... all 7 of which weren't wearing their seatbelts.

And another shout goes out to the folks who say that seatbelts are more dangerous. When it is your time, it is your time, but if you have technology that provides you with a safety device and choose to shun it.....sad really

I can see both sides of it, I have had a family member killed by wearing their seatbelt and one who's life was saved by a seatbelt.

When it is your time it is your time, seatbelt or not.

I myself choose to wear one but I know a few in my family that think otherwise.....

I agree...good thread Chubz. We all need to be reminded, and not just by the annoying dinger that you can disable the speaker on in most vehicles. It's common sense.

I'd hate to die and be in heaven (hopefully) and have God looking at me, shaking his head, saying "I gave my people technology to keep them safe. Why didn't you use it?"
